About these cameras
The centerpiece is the Old Faithful streaming camera, the only continuously streaming video feed in the park — eruptions come roughly every 90 minutes, so you rarely wait long. The rest of the network is refreshing still cameras: Mammoth Hot Springs and its parade ground, the Roosevelt Arch and gate cameras at the entrances, Electric Peak, and the Mount Washburn fire-lookout views.
The entrance and pass cameras double as road-condition checks in shoulder season, when Yellowstone’s gates can close on short notice for snow — worth a look before committing to the drive in from Gardiner or West Yellowstone.
