Aspen Highlands 360°

This 360° camera looks out over Aspen Highlands, one of the four mountains of Aspen Snowmass in the Colorado Rockies. Highlands is the locals' favorite for steep, challenging terrain — crowned by the legendary Highland Bowl, a hike-to expanse of expert powder runs above 12,000 feet. The panoramic view takes in the Maroon Bells and the surrounding Elk Mountains, some of the most photographed peaks in North America. Ski season runs roughly mid-December through early April. Aspen's high, dry Colorado snowpack delivers light powder, and Highlands' big vertical and bowl terrain reward strong skiers. The 360° vantage shows conditions across the mountain and the dramatic peaks beyond. Colorado is on Mountain Time, three hours behind Hawaii. Aspen is one of the most storied ski towns in the world, and Highlands anchors its serious-terrain reputation. In summer the same high country opens to hikers heading for the Maroon Bells, Conundrum Hot Springs, and the Elk Mountains' classic peaks.
